A must have book for fans of Quanah Parker

Very good book on arguably the greatest Indian chief of any tribal nation. His mother was a captive white girl and became a member of the Comanche tribe. Quanah Parker went on to be a very respected leader of the Comanches. Even after he surrendered to the US Army, he went on to do much good for not only the Comanches, but other tribal members too. He was even invited to the White House to meet with the president. I lived in Oklahoma for several years and gave historical tours of the southwest portion of that state. This included information about Quanah Parker. I had the opportunity to visit his grave site and the "Star House" he lived in after he surrendered. That house sits in Eagle Park in Cache, Oklahoma and the current owner is sadly letting it deteriorate. I had the opportunity to meet with his great grandson, Vincent Parker, and was given a private tour of the "Star House" - back when it was still safe to be inside that is. This book details much of Quanah Parker's life and from all other material I have read, people I have talked to, and visiting with Vincent Parker - this book is a one to own if you're interested in this man.
