The combination of weight and open aperture allows each sponge to wick faster and offer superior absorbency. These Dukal nonwoven sponges are tough; this helps ensure they're non-linting. This makes nonwoven sponges ideal for dressings because they don't leave fibers behind that would delay the wound healing process. These 4 x 4 inch nonwoven sponges are large enough to cover wounds. They also have a four-ply thickness, which provides added protection. Dukal nonwoven sponges are nonsterile.
