needs improvement

it needs a heavier frame to be able to fly it, at a little bit higher wind speeds, and a more durable landing gear for beginners, it fly's pretty good but also drifts some what, it could also use a longer flight times for learning to fly. I would suggest 10 minutes of flight time or making a larger battery option for the helicopter. the helicopter could also use some option parts just for fun, like a scale helicopter body and other option parts like a body.

disappointed

After viewing a handful of YouTube videos for the 130S, I thought it would be the ideal size model to practice in an empty warehouse next to my office. I have more than 100 flights on a 230S and wanted to try something smaller. I purchased the RTF version so didn't need to use my other radios. I found the stability of this size helicopter was far less than expected. It wandered all over, about as difficult as keeping a marble on a 2' x 2' square board. The controls were way too touchy, so I switched transmitters to a DX7 (gen2) and tried some outdoor flights in a no wind condition, but the overall stability wasn't much better. On a steep approach, the helicopter pirouetted 3 times. Without giving up, I was Into the 2nd week with more than 15 flights and working on smooth forward flight when it took a nose dive as though a linkage broke. All the links were fine. The servo motor came loose from impact. I'm online to order parts only to find the main gears are on backorder. New stock is expected to be available in 6 weeks or so. $200 for the BNF and $250 for the RTF. Compared to the 230S, in my opinion the 130S is overpriced. I shouldn't have strayed from the 230S. It's a lot more enjoyment with less surprises.
