I was hoping to use this light loafer as a housebound slipper. It's a well made, non lined, nicely stitched loafer. It is not durable enough for regular street wear, nor supportive enough for anything like business casual. I use mine for chores around the house, occasional trips outside the house. The soles are heavy enough to put my dogs out in the yard, and walk out to fetch packages, and mail. It's not very warm, but offers enough coverage for comfort in a heated home. They are not “slip ons”. They're easy enough to pull on, if you're able to stand on one leg for 2 to 3 seconds. Other than that issue, they're better than I expected for the price.
