1. Do not leave the heat wrap unattended when microwaving. 2. When reheating, reduce the microwaving time to prevent burn. 3. The heat wrap cover can be microwaved with the inner casing. Any zipper is made of PVC materials and safe to microwave. 4. Spray water to the wrap to make it moist. 5. Spray essential oil after take the wrap out of the microwave. Microwave time reference Microwave for 3 minute using 700 watts microwave; Microwave for 2 min using 1000 watts microwave; Microwave for 1 min 50 sec using 1200 watts microwave. Use only 10 seconds intervals to add microwave time until at desired temperature.

This is very nice. I like the weight and especially the flax filling as well as that it is a cotton cover. I haven't microwaved it as of yet, however I'm expecting it to be ok. The flax shifts but that would be difficult to correct without a different problem such as little bumps everywhere that would eliminate the current "seamless" continuity factor.

Instant relief
I was looking for a therapy pillow that I would be able to use it cold and hot as well and this is it: it is amazing: ergonomically and large enough so that it I can wrap it around my shoulder or my back, made in U.S. and made out of 100% cotton cove, 100% cotton casing and all natural flax seeds and the cotton cove is hypo-allergic, besides it is machine washable as well. I just heat it in the microwave for 2.30 minutes, apply it around my neck and my back neck pain is gone, instant relief! Even my 10-year-old started to use it after his basketball practices and he says it helps a lot: now we have to get a second wrap.
