Interestingly, I couldn't find my local retailers

This add on attachment is a must have for newer gas cans that have no vent hole like older cans have/had. Threw away the garbage EPA regulated dispenser nozzle that works poorly. Fortunately an older nozzle I had, that fit my can.

Thank goodness for vent caps!

Some of these goofy new gas cans are difficult to use. It makes it easier to use with a new, different spout. By using a regular spout you will also need to drill a 1/2" hole and push in a vent cap so gas can flow. It solves the problem of the new gas can spouts! Just check out the internet if you need instructions.
