I LOVE these clamps. So much faster than having to turn a handle, and will not slide off your piece while turning that handle (if too much friction at lower pad). Massive clamping power too. Just one thing.... The GROOVED clamp pads, while great for "gripping" and preventing slippage, are hard rubber and will mar finish work (with the groove pattern) if clamped more than lightly. Simple fix with some shims, pads or couple layers of blue tape, etc. But definitely would improve on this or have a soft, smooth pad option for finish work, cabinets. etc. #sweepstakes
