Resistant to weather and UV, the tape withstands abrasions, chemicals, tears, and operating temperatures of -40 F to 190 F.
It does not turn yellow over time for outdoor applications, and both tape and adhesive are UV protected to prevent deterioration.
Used for spiral wrapping, splicing, and general purpose sealing.
It covers patches or gaps on plastic, greenhouse panes, glasshouses, greenhouse plastic injuries, patches on doors and vents, air mattresses.
Ideal as a weather seal for applying plastic storm windows, door jams, and window casings.

Product details

MAT Tape Polyethylene Tape is a strong adhesive tape designed for repairs on a variety of surfaces. It is highly durable and UV resistant, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Specifically designed for vinyl and flat surface mats, it can also be used for repairing greenhouse plastic. When applying the tape, ensure that the surface is clean and dry, and avoid bending or overstretching the tape. Use it to secure interlocking exercise floor mats or patch tears in greenhouse plastic.

Note: As an alternative method, a patch can be created by cutting a section of extra polyethylene and placing it over the tear. The edges of the patch should be taped with poly repair tape, followed by taping over the entire patch. These methods provide strong patches that preserve the integrity of the greenhouse or grow tunnel.
