The Digital system offers a different ignition curve but the main difference in digital over analog systems is the after 14,000 rpm, the digital system ignition curve flattens to about 21,000rpm out where the analog decreases.
Digital systems are not recommended for engines larger then 200cc due to the fact that they can be hard to start you you are not able to turn the engine over fast enough

Penton Racing Products, Inc. offers applications for mini to open class, vintage to current models of single cylinder and twin cylinder 2-stroke motorcycle engines, as well as small displacement four stroke engines. Penton Racing Products receives basic PVL Electronic ignition components and makes the necessary modifications to fit the different applications.
