You can't build your own for this price, and the quality is excellent. No way I could have sourced all the parts anyway. I have been running these on my cameras since August 2025, and I still have 90% battery, and we take a lot of photos. I really think it will last all year. No more buying AA batteries by the case and finding time to change batteries. You might need to get an adapter for your camera's DC port. Ports vary by manufacturer/model. The link below has info on the DC adapters for various trail cams. Once you find the correct adapter, you can buy it inexpensively by Googling it. I got mine on Amazon.
