The QS-330 quartz sleeve is an important part of the UV water treatment process, as it surrounds the UV lamp, preventing it from coming in contact with the water. The quartz sleeve will accumulate minerals from the water and should be cleaned about every 3 months. Once the mineral layer becomes permanent and can not be removed,or the sleeve cracks or breaks, the sleeve needs to be replaced. For use in the VIQUA VT4, VTV/2, S2Q-PA, S2Q-PA/2 systems and the discontinued S2Q, S2Q/2, S2Q-GOLD, S2Q-GOLD/2, SSM-17, SSM-17/2 UV Systems. Genuine VIQUA replacement part.
