Robo Alive Electronic Interactive Fish Teal

I got this for my cats. I fill up the bathtub with about 2-3 inches of water and let this thing swim around. My cats love watching it and eventually they are brave enough to get it out of the tub.

I got this as a gift for my kitty who loves to play in water. Immediate hit! In a fishbowl, it swims around, dives and flips its tail intermittently. Similar to how a real fish will swim and rest. This toy seems to be weighted perfectly so it doesn't just float on its side on the surface. Magnus was able to paw it out of the water and then it quit moving, which it's supposed to do in order to save battery life. Fish seems more motion activated than water activated though. Its tail will flip about out of water if you move it. The packaging doubles as storage when not in play. The booklet that came with it is written in very tiny print, but does show how to replace the battery. The body is a hard plastic but the tail is a softer, chewable, rubbery material, which is something to keep in mind since little kids and furbabies alike have been known to chew on this type of material. They would do best to not be left unsupervised with this toy. I had been hesitant to spend the money on a toy that may be a disappointment, but finally "took the plunge" and I'm glad I did! Paws down, this was a great purchase!
