Maxim Liulca (Hardcover)

The works of Maxim Liulca (b. 1987 in Tighina, Moldova; lives and works in Cluj, Romania) reflect his rigorous but recognizably affectionate critical thinking. At first glance, his paintings might be taken for old Romanian carpets. But the sources of his motifs range from folkloric Romanian fabrics to 1970s geometric wallpapers, from Dada to Russian Constructivism.
