Leo & Lacey Farmhouse Solid Wood Full Spindle Bed with Headboard in Walnut

This bed appears to be the same one marketed under a different name (and possibly a different supplier) a few weeks ago. I bought one that arrived broken. The shipping boxes were good, so the damage happened before shipping. I called the support number in the box. Answering service said the company would contact me within ten days. Fortunately, Walmart.com interceded. I received only 6 slats for the "platform." You will probably need to add slats if you put a foam mattress on it. It is designed with one dowel at the top and bottom on each side of the headboard and one screw next to each dowel, to carry all the load going from the legs into the headboard. Is that enough if used by a heavy person. I was planning to buy three of these if the first one was good. Not buying any after seeing one damaged one. The boxes had "Atlantic Furniture" and "atlanticfurniture.com" printed on them. Buying furniture on the internet has not worked out well for me. Oh, check to make sure if you can return this to a Walmart store if you have a problem. I was told that I could not.
