For horseback riding and farm work excellent!

I have two heated vests. This one is by far much better quality and the one I would buy again. I wrote this for the first time for five hours at 30° weather on a horseback trip in the woods with some windchill. The heated hood makes all the difference in the world! I had about 25% left at the end of the ride which I used for barn chores when I towed the horses back home, there is a USB, and a USB – C, ports on this so technically you could use it to charge your phone as well. It takes a full 24 hours to recharge the batteries so make sure when you get home you put it on the charger to have it ready for next time. We were part of the big snow and ice storm this year in the southeast and this vest came in so handy for farm work. That hood makes a huge difference with the windchill. Let me tell you I didn't think it would, but it does matter to have a heated hood. I highly recommend this product and would definitely bite it again and use as a gift for family members. Also, it is not too puppy, on the lightweight side so that you can wear it inside the house and under clothing. But it still has some puff to it so that it actually feels like a winter garment without being heavy or bulky highly recommend.
