Hard to believe it's refurbished!

First thing I did after cleaning it and reading the booklet was to make a chocolate chip cookie recipe straight from the back of the chocolate chip package. The mixer worked flawlessly! Beat the butter and sugar so well (which is what I believe gives a cookie that melty texture). I've been baking for decades and do consider this type of mixer to be an upgrade over traditional stand mixers - this is the way I could afford one and test it out - thank you Walmart! Tips for using this is to read the book (one button performs two functions when pressed again); the base does not click to lock; and turn the bowl on its side after washing n drying. Made two Bundt cakes at one time using a very very heavy batter - I will probably switch to the paddles for that last third of flour next time. Watch the videos on you tube for this product (you can see the butter was below room temp and it still worked). Various reviews complain ref cleaning the parts - all parts I used fit inside the bowl and were washed easily right away. This mixer is similar to a $400+ mixer and includes additional parts already. I don't want a $400 mixer to make bread - my ten dollar thrift shop breadmaker does that easier and and I don't pass off frozen bread from a week ago as if fresh to my family (they do notice lol). But I did need a big sized mixer that also did well with smaller amounts and so far this has been perfect. I'm extremely happy with my purchase!!!
