Versatile and Affordable Stove

Affordable option to compete with other winter use stoves. Works with canister fuel in winter time because you can invert the canister for liquid feed. I use the MSR Pocket Rocket II in warmer seasons, as well as a Jetboil sometimes, but as someone who goes out all year, I like having this lightweight option when it's going to be well below freezing. I also didn't want to have to bother with going completely over to a white gas setup, although for seriously heavy winter use (sub-zero temps, melting lots of snow) white gas is the standard. In my experience so far, it heats water as fast as my Pocket Rocket, and I like that is sits low to the ground for better balance and windscreen effectiveness. It does seem to go through fuel faster than the other stoves (I'm assuming just due to using it in the cold, but can't be sure yet) so make sure you bring enough. Deploying it can be a bit fidgety with the fold out pot stands being very loose, but they're stable once they're in place and it doesn't affect functionality. Best of all, the price is much lower than any other liquid-feed canister stove options. IMO too affordable not to pick one up!

Good Little Stove

This is a good little back packing stove. Haven't had any issues, except it got stepped on and bent it up pretty good. So a little harder to fold up. If they wanted they could have probably came up with an easier way to fold it up and store it, but it works, it is dependable and a good little stove.
