Garvin (CBC-800) Cover Plate for Unused 6-Inch & 7-Inch Recessed Can Lights (8-Inch Diameter, Steel, White)

Garvin Industries is a 120-year old family owned manufacturer of UL Listed electrical, low voltage and lighting products. The "blank-up" plate is used to cover the exposed hole left in the ceiling by unused & abandoned 6 or 7-Inch diameter can lights. The smooth, white powder coated finish blends with white ceiling paint for a pleasing display in any finished space. The plate covers the entire fixture hole and prevents heat loss and risk of shock if the socket is energized and open. The tapered, 1/4” outside edge seats firmly against the ceiling surface and prevents heat loss through the fixture opening as well as insect entry. Screw the non conductive threaded hub into the light socket, and connect the spring to the hub eyelet and then stretch and connect it to the cover plate bracket.
