My grandson and his friend and I played with these cars and had a blast. After playing for a good amount of time, my grandson got very upset when his friend popped the man out of his car, so it was time to put them aside for a little break.. These bumper cars definitely create a healthy sense of competition for 7 year-old boys %26 a memory from back in the day when I used to ride in them at fairs. The construction is very well made and the material is sturdy. I would definitely recommend this as a toy for any gender and all ages since the controls are very easy to navigate.
