Awful smell outweighs all the positives

I really wanted to like this. It looks great and is comfortable underneath a futon. Unfortunately, being a natural grass product, it has an odor. The smell was pleasant at first. But it got stronger and stronger over time to the point that my room smells like a barn! When you smell the mat itself it seems ok, but left alone in a closed room (or even worse a closet where it is stored) the smell builds up and up and gets super strong. I gave it a month, but now other household members are complaining about the smell. It seems to smell stronger when it is humid outside. So I have to return it - thanks to Walmart's generous 90 day return policy I can do this.
