With 2 PCs and 4 monitors, the standard power cord for the 4th monitor was stretched so tight it twanged like a treble guitar string. Also, with all the black cables, it was a challenge to keep track, even when labeled. This blue cable provides a quick visual ID and the extra length is perfect.

I got the blue color as they were discounted. I'm a live sound engr and always prefer to have different colors for different type of cables as that makes things easier to identify. The cable is pretty much standard, and I don't need thicker cable as I normally just allocate 1 for each speaker. If you have the same preference and need like me, get the colored ones.
