Instructions
Roses are packed in LAYERS within each bunch. The second layer of roses is not visible from the top of the bunch. From the top of each bunch, you will only see 12 blooms. Under those blooms, there are an additional 13 that you cannot view due to the corrugated cardboard that surrounds the blooms. To confirm the number of roses in each bunch, flip the bunch over and count the number of stems. Keep the corrugated wrap (carton sleeve) on each bunch for the first 4 hours in order to re-hydrate the roses properly. If the wrap is removed during the re-hydration process, the rose's heads will droop. With sharp scissors or knives, cut the stems at an angle about 1 inch from the bottom. This will re-open the channels within the stem and allow flowers to absorb the water. Remove all leaves on the stems that may touch the water in the container as the leaves create bacteria. Place stems in prepared water-filled containers. For freshest flowers, re-cut stems, clean and refill containers with fresh water every 2 days.
