This is a system that you can use on a refrigerator that does not have a filter already built in. As long as the fridge has a cold water supply line that is connected to the fridge, you can use this kit. In addition to what is included with the kit, you will need a screwdriver, preferably Phillips head, either sharps scissors or a razor blade, and a large bucket to catch any excess water from unhooking the line. The instructions are easy to follow.

The Metpure ice maker and refrigerator filtration kit is easy to install. The kit includes all items needed for installation. After letting a little bit of the water run through it, you could taste the improvement of taste in the drinking water. I also noticed the ice from the ice maker was clearer. Very affordable price compared to other filters for fridges.
