Heavier than expected! lol! I read so many reviews stating this but I guess I didn't realize how heavy 20lbs was! But no complaints from me. I would recommend beginners get a 15lb instead. Its not too heavy however when you're just starting out its a bit awkward with the weight AND length. Shipping was good as well. It came in a long tube and was heavy sealed at the ends.

Perfect workout bar. My only slight criticism is that the rubber colored ends be a little thicker; that way when you set the bar down, you have more space between the ground and the bar to avoid smashing your fingers. I learned the hard way (ouch). It’s exactly what I needed though
