I purchased this in a 2 clamp set— they can be purchased in different options) and this is definitely worth it! It's a strong clamp, it has the heft to CLAMP down professional photography %26 video equipment. I bought this because I needed to REPLACE a broken combo clamp that suddenly failed. It was from another manufacturer, and come to think of it, even though people like lightweight accessories— sometimes if it's TOO lightweight… it may fail when you least expect it. . So, I needed to make a BETTER CHOICE now! Strong and heavy duty! So it doesn't fail! And I believe I did! This has a much heavier build— all the assembled pieces of metal are robust and heavy duty! I know about SmallRig, I have other accessories made by them, so I can always trust them! But maybe I bought the previous clamp for it's “dual-duty”. To clamp and hold lights in a specific position. Now… the broken clamp is useless, because it can't be used to hold a lamp in position anymore.
