Good design but Fabric fades

These shorts are a great length and have the adjustable waist but the Midnight Green color faded after washing. I bought a second pair because I thought I must have done something wrong but the second pair did the same thing!! I even washed them inside out. So frustrating.

Cute, comfy, with an adjustable waistband (buttons and elastic on the inside). Excellent value. I have bought them in nearly every color for my 5 year old.
