If they are unsure, it may help to unplug the fountain for a few days. This can help uncertain cats adjust first to drinking out of the fountain as a bowl; after this, most will then accept it when it is plugged back in.

As soon as I plugged it in my kitty started drinking right away . This product is fantastic , quiet , and not threatening to hesitant pets . I highly recommend it😻
