Pressman Treasure Hunt- Educational Card Game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game reminds me of "I spy" type game, which my kids love playing pretty much anywhere! You get a bunch of cardboard gold coins, pieces to make 2 treasure boxes with lids, a clue board, and a dry erase marker with eraser. First, you are supposed to assemble the little treasure boxes and lids by folding up the cardboard and gluing the flaps. I didn't want to wait around for that, so I just taped it. Once you have the treasure box and lids, you are supposed to hide a gold coin and fill out the clue board (which direction is it in, is it near something colored, near something of a certain shape, etc). The other team uses the clue board to find the gold coin. If they find it, they put the coin in their treasure box and the other team swaps. Whoever has the most coins in their box at the end, wins. It was great to play with my 5 year old who can read and fill out the clue board on his own and use those critical thinking skills to search. We had a blast! Here is where the flaw came in: It was time to put it all away and the treasure boxes no longer fit into the box the game came in. Yes, I even took the lids off and tried shoving them every which way. So we had to find a different container to house the game, hence the 4 stars. I would still recommend for your school age kiddos!

as everyone else we bought had one chest we returned and so did the next one. also requires u to glue using glue stick which doesn't take or dbl sided tape so 20 min delay on playng.
