So soft are these socks! I've had several pair bought some years ago and have had trouble finding more. ( my daughter sneaked a pair out of state!) they get softer w washing. They are nice and thick. Altho not the thickest available. Great for winter boots, running shoes, cozy indoors w a/c during summer. Colors are vivid; I bought purple, black, and 2 oranges ( not sure I intended to buy 2 orange?!?!). Biggest plus is that the cost is several dollars less than previous purchases in shoe store!
