These big beautiful brains are sturdy, well made and paintable . They are actually quite useful! The best thing about it besides being anatomically correct is the quality of the product itself. I will definitely hold up in a classroom setting! Even being passed around to students of all ages. 4 1/2 to 5 years of age and up to college age students. Before five years they are mouth chewers. I don't think it would hurt the plastic brain but after decades of plastic toys the ‘experts' say plastic isn't good to put in your mouth anymore. Other than that I think it would stand up to toddler quite well. I'm very satisfied with the product, the company I purchased it from and it was quickly shipped. I would definitely purchase more Homyl products! I'm very happy with my purchase . It looks like I packed it away, so I can't leave you any pictures but trust me it paints very well with a primer and paint spray can for plastic plastics.
