I got this cheese grater through a promotional offer in return for writing a review. It just arrived today and I immediately got out a block of Parmesan cheese and a lemon to test it. It worked beautifully on the Parmesan. Very easy to use I wish I had ordered this a few weeks ago when I was making Alfredo. It also did an excellent job zesting the lemon. I would recommend this item.

I've thus far used this to grate cheese, chocolate, and garlic. I've also used it to zest citrus fruit, and it has worked well in all applications. It's a nice, reasonably priced microplane with sharp stainless blades, and a very comfortable handle for stable use. I like how it also has some rubber on the non handle end to keep it steady while in use. It has a hole on the handle for hanging which is another nice feature. Also, it comes with a plastic cover which slides onto the blade to keep it sharp and prevent nicks from accidentally brushing against it if stored in a drawer, for example. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase for its price point.
