Super fast and fun RC Truck!!

Having grown up as an RC Car enthusiast, I've acquired many brands and played with a ton of cars. But I have to admit for my first DEERC RC car this really kicks butt! It's lightweight composition allows the truck to really haul and accelerates I feel faster than the ~25mph (40 km/h ) it advertises. 4WD action allows it to maneuver and make the sharpest turns and can u-turn with minimal space and at full space without rolling over. Out of the box I liked the sleek low profile of the PVC shell. After taking it off roading and enduring some jumps and crashes, the PVC shell does have a coating that starts to peel some, but the PVC material is super durable and I feel will be extremely difficult to crack. I've launched the truck off some ramps and it lands beautifully and absorbs the shock well. I've also had my fair share of fender benders and run ins with walls and other hard objects and it can take a licking well without structural damage going at top speed. The tires are soft, tough, and seem to be able to withstand all terrains as I've tested it so far on dirt, sand, mud, and concrete. Might get some tire tread wear and tear as with any vehicle real or RC, but that comes with the territory and after clocking nearly 60-70 drives now, it's seems to be able to go the distance. The drive time with both batteries lasted as advertised up to 40 minutes. But I'm charging one battery as I'm playing with the other. The charge time for a battery is 1-2 hrs. The easy to grip foam wheel and controller has knobs to adjust throttle and steering and is lightweight so it won't be tiring to hold and drive for a while. All in all this is a great RC car for all levels. Would strongly recommend it as a gift and will draw the eye of all your neighbors because of how fast and sleek this car is. I can't wait till I try out it's bigger, faster brother and I saw versions with a brushless motor!

It is very powerful. I know its supposed to be for 8 yrs old and up but my 4 yrs old can have fun with it already. Due to current situation we are looking for fun mostly in our home or at least in our backyard. This toy entertains my child. If he enjoys it, that is what matters most for. Make sure you read the instruction book that it came with. Just so you learn what the buttons do, their functions and the battery information. I also like the 2 rechargeable batteries that it came with , though you need 3 AA batteries for the remote itself. It lasts long, just make sure the car and the remote are turned off when not in use.

Really fun! Amazing speed and power on grass!

Oh man, what a joy! I didn't expect to have this much fun with this RC, it's just awesome! It has really nice settings on the controller, so read the manual to get all info, because some will be very important on where you're playing. It get's really fast quickly, so you don't want that if you're tying inside. My grass is around 3in tall, and this RC can fly trough, it's just amazing to see how good it is, I didn't expect that it would ride so good on that tall grass. One battery has a good amount of play time, and it comes with 2. The only thing to improve is something to hold the battery, I did with a velcro, which did the job easily, not a deal breaker though.
