ORGANIC PALM OIL, RBD, COLD PRESSED, PURE
Botanical Name: Elaeis guineensis.
Extraction Method: Cold Pressed.
Processing Type: RBD (Refined, Bleached, and Deodorized).
Obtained From: Fruits.
Organic: Made without pesticides, GMO's, or hexane.
Ingredients: Palm oil 100% Pure with NO additives or carriers added.
Description: Palm Oil is derived from the fruit of the palm tree. It is semi-solid at room temperature and is rich in palmitic acid, Vitamin E, Vitamin K and Magnesium. It contains natural anti-oxidants and works well in cold-process soap making. This variety of Palm Oil is Refined, Bleached and Deodorized (RBD). Palm oil may be cloudy in appearance due to the presence of natural sediments found in the oil.
Color: Clear when liquid, white to slightly pale yellow when solid.
Aromatic Description: Palm Carrier Oil has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils.
Common Uses: Palm Fruit Oil is commonly used in products as a healthier alternative when compared with other higher saturated oils, and is used in cosmetic and body care products to help extend the shelf life. It is widely popular in soap making for its ability to produce big fluffy lather.
Consistency: Semi-solid at room temperatures - gentle heating is required during production.
Absorption: Palm Carrier Oil will leave an oily feeling on your skin if applied neat.
