I saw similar ones to this at local pet stores. They were more expensive and did not have the cubby space underneath. The only different I noticed was that the ones at the pet stores-the top cover zipped off. This is the same quality as other ones. My medium sized cat LOVES this and she sits in it all the time. She loves it placed by the window so she can look out and lay at the same time. The cubby hole is large so all sized cats can go in it. Surprisingly, my declawed cat also uses the scratch post often. It doesn't take up a lot of room and it's easy to move around. The is a great, affordable product.

Our kitten started playing with this as soon as I set it up. He really needed a scratching post and it is doing the trick and more! It took him a minute to get used to the hammock, but the fluffy ball on the string was an immediate hit and it is so sturdy. I am so happy I bought this - best decision yet.

Space for 2 kitties

I got this as a way to provide sleeping area for our 2 cats to keep them off the furniture a little, it works like a charm. One is always in the cubby, and one is always in the hammock on top. They don't really use the middle piece or the scratchers, but that is most likely do to where it's placed in the house. At any rate the cats enjoy it, and so do I.
