Misaligned Firebox

I have owned a Primo XL since 2015 and love it. I recently retired and am spending the winters in Arizona and purchased a Primo Large for this home. After my second or third cook, it was time to remove the ashes. To my surprise, the hole in the firebox used to remove ashes does not line up with the hole in the grill, making ash removal much more difficult than it needs to be. The new owners of Primo claim that they are using the molds purchased from the previous owners and that they have never lined up in a Primo Large. Personally, I find this hard to believe. If you are considering a Primo, purchase the XL.
