10 x 10 canopy, 9 x 9 footprint.

The actual size of this 10 x 10 is measured at the roof not the footprint. The actual footprint is closer to 9 x 9. If you need detailed instructions, you should pass on this one. If height is a concern, be advised that the horizontal arches take away from the entry height... especially near the posts. Overall, the structure looks great assembled but make sure it is anchored or secured well. There is not much weight to the gazebo and a strong wind will put this thing into orbit.
