A good tent for the price

The tent and rain fly seem sturdy and well-made. I've set it up but haven't yet used it. So I can't comment on how well it works in rain or wind. It's relatively easy to set up. The only thing to be careful with is that the sleeve material tends to bind on the connecting links of the folding poles when the poles are being inserted into the sleeves. So don't force the poles to slide in. Instead, help the sleeves slide over the pole links by pulling gently on the sleeves, and it will be fine. If you try to force the poles, you might rip the sleeves. The tent isn't quite 7 feet. At the very bottom, I measured 81 inches corner-to-corner. And because the sides of the ten slope inward, there actually is only about 6 feet of usable head/foot room. I'm 5 foot, 11 inches tall, and I fit with not much space to spare. For a tall person, this tent would be a bit too small if it's shared with someone else. If only one person is using the tent, then putting the sleeping bag diagonally would be give plenty of room. There is only one pocket inside for storing items. Two pockets would be nicer. There are two zippered doors with zippered mesh netting on each. The zippers seem to be good quality. The carrying bag is plenty large for the tent, poles, and stakes. No need to force the tent to fit by stuffing it into the bag. It fits nicely. Don't expect this tent to be as good as one that costs a couple hundred dollars. But for the money, this is a fine tent. I'm satisfied that I bought it.
