My granddaughter is mixed and I really wanted to purchase the same EXACT mermaid but with the darker skin. I purchase both black and white dolls as well as other races/nationalities for my granddaughter. The problem is that Wal-Mart has the EXACT mermaid with darker skin listed for almost twice the price! REALLY?!!? I refuse to pay more for any doll because of skin color be it black or white! Wal-Mart should be ashamed for doing that.

Love she has curves, and her head is good sized to rest of her body. I like you don't have to find her clothes, no naked Barbie issues. still need to brush and braid hair but makes her perfect for water play.
