Vase Plants are probably the most popular houseplant bromeliads on the market today. The stately plants generally have strappy green leaves. Although the plants themselves are beautiful, their long-lasting flowering bracts are stunning. The flowers rise above the plant like a spiky crown. It's not unusual for the flower spike to last for months. Keep the center vase filled with clean water at all times. Once or twice a month dump out the water and add fresh water. Keep the self-watering pot full of water, though it can occasionally dry. Place in bright, indirect light. The variety and color of the Bromeliad received will vary with the season.
