As you turn the pages of this Spiritual book, you'll experience God through the author's lenses. Over the years, Rev. Vickie Hughes has found God in the most amazing places, scenarios, and people. God has also shown up and spoken to her when she had been alone at night or just waking up in the morning. During her high school years, she began writing some of her best poetry during those hours. Currently in Ministry, God's presence is even stronger in this author's life. In recent years, Rev. Hughes has grown to love patient visits; she especially loves working night on calls while serving in a Chaplain capacity at a healthcare facility. Rev. Hughes has witnessed God's miraculous work within those walls as well as in other settings over the years; she has written about many of those experiences in her book. She has encountered other individuals/families during their crises, in the midst of the new life of an infant or the impending death of a seasoned person. There have been times when she has comforted others when all hope appeared to be lost, yet, there may have remained a 'glimmer' of hope. This past year has been one of awareness, growth, and transformation for this author. She is a changed person. You will read about some of Rev. Hughes's raw and authentic moments; she indeed experienced growing pains and revelatory joys as an ordained clergyperson. It is her hope that her book will reach individuals needing spiritual guidance/direction, "grace" reminders, and/or religious renewal. This book will open your mind, touch your heart, stir your soul, and calm your spirit. Vickie believes that both clergypersons and laypersons will be touched by her writings (a Reverend's musings) when they read, "In the Still of the Night and the Wee Morning Hours. I FIND GOD EVERYWHERE."
