I'm a weatherman now!

AcuRite 01208M HD Weather Station with Wi-Fi Forecast (Compatible with Weather Underground) This little thing is amazing. This will tell you anything you want to know about what is happening in the skies. It tells the time, temperature, what day it is, wind speed, amount of rainfall, records it and automatically empties itself, wind direction, humidity, measures highs and lows and records them on charts, It can be an alarm clock and a storm alarm, which is activated by the barometric pressure dropping. and lots of other stuff I have not discovered or figured out as yet. It is a little difficult to install and set up, but is simplified by allowing you to log in to a website to view installation instructions. I don't need a weather channel anymore!

Magnificent Piece of Technology

This weather station speaks volumes about standard functionality and technology. It seemed to take linger ti unpack than set it up (overall comparison). Read the instructions through a couple times and got cracking on it. Often said a device such as this monitor wind direction, mph of wind, temp and temps needs to be up to 30 feet up. Well due to medical matters I, nor others I know, couldn’t perform that task. Did have to get up a ladder 2 rungs/steps up. My doctors would’ve had a fit. This was to ensure it was level. In the outdoor monitor there is a leveling bubble. Went easily and well. Put monitor on metal conduit pole. You need to make sure, read manual, the device is pointing SOUTH! Either use a regular compass or go to app store online and use your smartphone and it’s a piece of cake. You will need WiFi to setup the inside monitor. For all functions to set this is like alot of them...can take 30-45mins. Patience! Keeps track if ALL outside conditions as well as INTERIOR house temp/humidity. What a great device. Oh...trick thing is you can go thru WU (WunderGround) and have your own weather station. Here is where “Yours” shows a blip and radiating circle. You can rename it if you don’t care for auto-default name. Anywhere basically in the world can see this. If you don’t care for that you can keep it private. Another good fact, is the implement Outdoors is basically in hurt without the screen indoors. Because of it set up the way it is through the Wi-Fi no one can have it. It would be like a cell phone without the passwords. Inertia. You can also track whoever has it. Again, this is so cool… I would love to give all of my friends one of these. Yes, I checked, and the accuracy is so good. There is no if, ands or buts about that. AcuRite...this is IMPRESSIVE. Period.

Weather monitoring

This Acu Rite weather station is great ! It is a 5 in one unit . It has the wind speed & direction , temp in door and outdoor/ humidity, Rain amount plus likelihood of rain . Tomorrow 's forecast too . You can set it up with Weatherunderground also . The set up is simple . The mounting can be on an post or you can mount on a pipe . I had to get help to put mine an eve near my roof top . So far this is more accurate than the TV folks !
