Well I live in Southwest Louisiana and we just dealt with Hurricane Laura Cat 4 and Hurricane Delta Cat 3. Laura was the most destructive hurricane to hit in many many years. 9 out of every 10 houses sustained damage and 6 out of 10 were unlivable. After Laura passed I knew I had my work cut out for me. So as I live in a heavily wooded area and being the youngest married couple down my road I needed to get an access road cut incase anyone needed help. I grabbed my old 345 and started cutting a path through the destruction. I spent 3 days cutting wood. I knew I wasn't a logger but sure felt like one. So now the access was made I needed to deal with the bigger stuff. The search began for a bigger more powerful saw. Many reviews I read and YouTube videos I watched. I even reached out to CotonTop3 for insight on a saw for my needs. With his guidance I settled on a Husqvarna 572 with a 24" bar. I ended up buying it from a local Husqvarna dealer. Mr. Bud did a full checkup on it to make sure it was ready to go. Once I got it home I put it to work. A large red oak was threatening to cause damage to one of my structures. So I went to town on it and this saw just cut through it like butter. The power this saw has is absolutely amazing. Many times I buried the bar in big wood and it just pulled and never bogged. Also this saw has air injection and is a great improvement over the older saws as power is never an issue. The 572 has a compression release and a primer bubble with makes it easy to start with 3 pulls of the cord. My old 345 was bought in 2005 after Hurricane Rita and has served me well. I firmly believe the 572 will do the same thing. Friends came and helped through all the clean up process as well. One had a comparable Stil and the other a comparable Echo. After my Husqvarna 572 out performed them several times they both started second guessing their purchases!!! Thank you Husqvarna for building a quality product!!!!
