Too hard and too back low

The back pillow obscured the actual back so we didn't know that when the pillow is removed for more seat space, the chair back height is not tall enough to support anyone, not even a short person. I bought this chair to be able to curl up in. This is not possible unless the back pillow is removed, which would be fine if the actual seat back were tall enough. It's so low we feel that there's no back at all. I'm only 5' 4”. In addition, the seat cushion is far too firm. It's like sitting on a park bench. It's so bad that my daughter who is getting married and setting up house said sh would not take the second one that is still in the box. Don't buy this chair unless it's just for show. Matter of fact I got a nicer, well made, more comfortable chair with a normal back and normal seat cushion for just about half the price of one of these chairs from our favorite membership warehouse store.
