GE WB25X10030 Microwave Light Bulb (PACK OF 2)

I replaced my over the range microwave at the end of September, along with my range, and refrigerator (GE replacements for GE products). I have owned GE products for 45 years. It was clear that the quality was not the same as the GE products I was replacing. A minor example, while I rarely use the surface lights, one bulb burned out in less than 6 months. After reading the problems people have had trying to change the bulbs I almost don't want to change it. It also sometimes alerts me when I try to key in my cook time to put my food in the microwave when my food is already in the microwave. Perhaps GE should spend less resources trying to sell you extended warranties and more on the quality of their products.

Can't believe we paid $25 for these 2 GE bulbs to the microwave but I really needed the light to shine down on my stove top and we thought these would be the best and would last longer than others. Well that was the end of May. A week or two ago one of the bulbs went out. We thought the bulb must be loose but when my husband took it out the bulb was black. It's only the end of November now. We do not use these lights except for cooking which is not everyday by the way. We won't be paying this price again for something that isn't worth it.
