i looked high and low for a combination gold and either burlap or straw beach bag. This fit the bill perfectly. It's large, a nice shape, zippered, and sturdy. Matched expectations perfectly. Was looking for a fun summer bag: 1. Didn't cost a fortune 2. Had sturdy handles, the bag has rope handles that loop through groumet 3. Looked fun, but elegant enough to pair with nice outfit. 4. If just lasts this summer that would be fine. In all honesty, could be a 5 if lasts longer than this summer, although that was not main criterion. The bag is lined and has inside pocket. Also, purchased in black. Very happy.
