Shiva Signa-Sein Casein Color 37 ml Tube - Burnt Sienna

All Richeson Casein is awesome. This is a strong opaque white that, like other casein, does not reactivate. I'm using it to lighten the Richeson underpainting casein set and paint sky gradients for gouache and it kicks butt at that.

I've started thinning with water based polyurethane as an experiment on wood furniture and carvings. Mixes well, still dries fast, but the poly prevents layers mixing without fixative. Dense colors, fills wood pores, no need to prime, unlimited coats. Sand first and recoat as often as necessary for smooth surface.
