For this bromeliad bundle, we will choose 10 different bromeliads of all different colors and sizes. When choosing the plants for your bundle we aim to include many different varieties, but most will be of the Neoregelia genus of bromeliads but could also include Vriesea, Aechmea or Guzmania. They will all be young, unlabeled pups cut from the mother plants and will range from about 3.5-5” in length or larger.
Container Gardens/Terrariums/Houseplant:
Most commonly used in vivariums, these plants can also be grown as a houseplant or in a terrarium. As a house plant, they can be potted in a suitable bromeliad soil, in which they will grow out their roots in time to absorb nutrients. Likewise, as in a vivarium, they can be affixed to the wall of a terrarium in which they will send out roots over time to attach themselves. Their central cones should still be flushed with water every week or so, as this is their main means of naturally acquiring water in the wild.

Vivariums/Animal Terrariums:
Neoregelia are highly suitable and preferred bromeliads for vivarium use, making them one of the most popular plants used in naturalistic vivaria. Placed under the bright lighting and higher heat of a vivarium, these bromeliads will quickly intensify in color and form roots that will attach to your background and other hardscape in your vivarium.
Bromeliad coloration may vary from the picture. Color will fluctuate in an individual plant, based on light and temperature. As good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home. Live plants may vary in color, size and appearance.
