Perfect size, 5' by 4' 2”. This is wonderful for watching tv or sitting on the porch if you get a little cool. I can think of many times I'll use this, so I'll throw one in my trunk since it folds easily and has a velcro band to keep it folded. It's plush, so very soft, lightweight, but warm. Great for kids to manage since it's lightweight. The ONLY negative is that it sheds when you first open it, since it is a plush blanket. Wash it right away to solve that. It washes/dries nicely. There is nothing bad to say about this.

I love this blanket!! I have several, of what I call lap quilts, and all of them are too short when I pull them up to under my neck. I'm only 5'4 but my toes still pop out of the bottom. I absolutely love that this blanket is 60" long and works perfectly. It is really soft (the tag describes it as luxuriously soft). I like that it is not as heavy as my down comforters or my electric lap top blanket that I had been using. This is a perfect three season blanket. I also love the pattern (see photos below). The color is a kind of raspberry with a design of snowflakes, kisses and hearts on it. It is July here in Down East Maine, and I still use this blanket every single day, both mornings and evenings as I read in my recliner. I like that it is machine washable. I'm going to buy the exact same color for my daughter and two granddaughters and look for a more 'manly' design for my son-in-law. Two thumbs up Walmart / Mainstays. I love this throw.
