I’m normally a strong advocate of OEM parts so I was skeptical when I initially purchased this alternator. I’ve seen plenty of aftermarket parts (including alternators) bad out of the box. In this case, I couldn’t justify spending the additional $200 for Motorcraft for my Ford. I hooked my labscope up as soon as I installed this fully expecting a bad diode or too much AC ripple. Everything was good right from the get go. Tested again after about 5k miles and it’s still working as it should. Very pleased with this product and will likely use them again for my next vehicle’s bad alternator.
