Very comfortable sleep

Yes this bed frame requires full assembly. I didn't review the video link they noted in the instruction manual. I was able to follow along with the written instructions just fine, but be forewarned they are pretty standard in terms of instructions. I did have two boards that I had to drill two holes in, because no matter which way I put them across the frame, I wasn't able to screw in all four screws. Other than that, everything fit just fine. The bed adjusts wonderfully and I got the best nights sleep I've had in a very long time. I would recommend this to anyone in need of an adjustable bed, with the caveat that it does require assembly and you may need help if you are an unable to manage that yourself. One last note - I set it in an existing twin bed frame, but it's not compatible with my twin frame footboard. You will see my temporary fix in the second photo. It is not anything to do with the adjustable frame reviewed here. I will be replacing that with another to set the adjustable frame in.

Buyers beware.

I purchased the upholstered bed. When we opened the box we were shocked to see how many pieces had to be put together which took us hours to complete. Once we had the frame partially assembled we had to install the wood slats to the frame which was a nightmare. The slats were raw pieces of wood that was not sanded down to make a smooth finish. The whole slats were so raw it caused splinters in my fingers. Once that was completed trying to put the cover on was another nightmare to do. Trying to put the cover on each slat was horrible. There is nothing under the cover but the raw slats. In the picture showing the frame with the upholstered cover looks like it has cushions under the cover but there's nothing. I would NOT recommend anyone to purchase this adjustable bed. If you should purchase the normal verses the upholstered there is no different but higher cost. I definitely would have sent it back if I could have.
